Great food! Great value and even better service. I need more typed.

I always like to give some of the places closest to my office a good try even if the reviews aren't stellar. This one didn't quite pan out well for me.
Came in after the lunch rush; 1:25-1:30 by myself ordered the AYCE.
Let's start with the good:
Got sat right away
Tabletop was clean
Waitress was nice and organized
My order was taken right away
Portion sizes were big (not great for sushi but its fine)
Reasons for a 2 starts not 1:
Good assortment of choices at a good price for lunch $18
Dinner they let you get a couple of sashimi's (I was lunch though)
Reasons I wanted to give a 1 star:
The nigiri was cut a bit sloppy (too large too)
I hate to say it because I ate it, it was a little too warm.
Too much sauce on some of the rolls
I ordered a hand roll at the end that tasted like cleaning products
Things that said soft shell crab only had imitation crab meat (big pet peeve)
Rolls were avocado was used looked pre cut and yellowed.
Let's just say I am writing this seated and not at my desk chair.
I hope this restaurant uses these comments on yelp to improve a little bit, it has a great little buffer between it and the next sushi place in this area, it could do really well with the Unlv medical campus expanding near by. -

If I could, I would not give them any stars.
First, the waitress was super rude. Every time we asked for something, she would act like it was too much for her and would try to walk away before we would finish talking to her.
Second, the food presentation was horrible. The sushi rolls looked all smashed together and would be falling apart before they even made it to our table. -

I've been here at least 5 times before and I thought the sushi was much better. Wonder if they have new owners. The tuna on top of the Stupid Tuna roll was too thick and didn't taste fresh. All you can eat for $17.95. The Spicy edamame was good. Service was ok. When I told the server the tuna taste fresh she said it was because it was seared. What?! It should still taste fresh! The shrimp tempura roll was good.

Sushi is so so
Got some basic rolls, Tuna, California roll and a chicken teriyaki roll. The fish is a bit fishy for me and the chickens a little dry over all was ok. Good portions and prices just not the freshest.
